Harris Carries Double-Digit Lead Over Trump With Female Voters

Over recent years, female voters have been pivotal in taking Democratic contenders across the finish line. This played out during the 2018 midterms, two years after Trump’s election. Yet another blue wave took place in 2020 when Biden won the White House and during the 2022 midterms, notwithstanding forecasts of a probable red wave.

Given this history, Democrats are hoping their electoral victory streak continues in November with Harris winning the White House. As for down-ballot elections, Democrats want to boost party turnout so they further their Senate majority and regain control in the House of Representatives.

In just under three weeks, the two presidential contenders will come face-to-face for their first and (so far) only confirmed debate. During the segment, both candidates will face questions about their policies, past controversies, and plans moving forward, should they prevail on November 5.
