Central to the show’s success is the character portrayal by Alan Ritchson. Over the years, Ritchson’s physique and acting chops have been praised as on point for capturing Reacher’s intense demeanor.
On Instagram this week, the actor announced the show’s season four renewal. Thanking both Prime Video and SkyDance, Ritchson then teased fans with a possible reveal of which Lee Childs book season four will follow.
With season three of Reacher currently undergoing production and not set to come out until next year, it’s safe to assume season four is several years away. If the show follows previous release patterns, fans who are eagerly awaiting the quadruple season will likely see it during 2027 or 2028.
Limitless potential for the Reacher universe
There are currently 28 Reacher novels from Lee Childs. This means season four could follow any one of them, especially since the show isn’t adhering to the books’ chronological order. Then, there’s the potential for crossovers between Reacher and new spinoff show Neagley.
