Geneva Meeting Confirmed
A U.S. delegation that includes envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner is expected to meet Iranian officials in Geneva. The meeting was confirmed by a senior Iranian official.
Rubio said, “Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will be traveling, I think they are traveling right now, to have important meetings and we’ll see how that turns out.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has traveled to Geneva for the indirect talks and is expected to meet officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency alongside U.S. representatives.
The renewed discussions mark another attempt to resolve a dispute that has shaped relations between Tehran and Washington for decades. The outcome could determine whether tensions ease through diplomacy or escalate further in the months ahead.
