Last month, Creed III star Jonathan Majors shocked the world after authorities arrested him in New York. The arrest of Majors came after allegations of him physically striking a woman and wrapping his hand around her neck.

In the aftermath of the arrest, Majors maintains his innocence.

However, filmmakers Tim Nicolai and A.B. Allen have come out to describe the actor as both an "abuser" and a "sociopath." They also stated that for those who previously interacted with Majors, this has been well-known about him for quite some time.

Meanwhile, Majors now faces misdemeanor charges of both harassment and assault, per the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Unfortunately, for the Creed III actor, a negative domino effect is beginning to take place, amid his legal problems.

Hollywood jumps ship?

Monday, May 8 is when Majors must appear before court to face the legal charges that stand against him. Though in the meantime, Hollwyood looks to be jumping ship from the embattled actor altogether.

So far, the US Army opted to take down ads that featured Majors, citing "concerns" about the claims of violence that stand against him. Likewise, reports indicate that the studio behind the film 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' is working on cutting back Majors' screen time.

On Tuesday, April 4, Majors was set to deliver a speech before Pennsylvania's Social Planning and Events Committee (SPEC) Connaissance. However, SPEC called off the event and confirmed that anyone who purchased tickets to hear the Creed III actor speak will receive refunds.

In another blow to Majors, talk is emerging of a potential recast of his Kang character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, should the charges against him turn into a conviction.

Wait and see

With Majors not set to appear before court until early next month, everyone will have to wait and see what comes next for him. In the meantime, though, it is safe to say Hollywood appears to be backing away from the Creed III star, at least for now.
