What’s Next
The recommendation now goes to the Massachusetts Judicial Conduct Commission to review and consider whether to recommend discipline to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, which will make the final determination on any sanctions.
The commission must decide whether to accept McInerney’s recommendation for a public reprimand or continue to pursue its original request for suspension and removal proceedings before the state legislature and governor.
