Settlement Finalized After Holiday Delays
The Marlins and Gossett had informed the court on Jan. 10 that they were close to resolving the dispute and had reached “an agreement in principle.” However, they requested additional time to finalize terms due to the end-of-year holidays and scheduling conflicts.
On Tuesday, the lawsuit was formally dismissed, finalizing the Miami Marlins Stolen Base Settlement.
