Most Florida Residents Back Amendment 4 Ahead of November

Only 26% of Floridians told the pollster they’d vote no on the Right to Abortion Initiative. With 20% describing themselves as uncertain about Amendment 4, it is this demographic that will likely make or break the proposal.

Florida is one of several states with an abortion measure on the ballot this November. Democrats, ahead of the election, are heavily focusing on the Sunshine State, hoping Amendment 4 will boost left-wing voter turnout, thus helping Vice President Harris, along with Democrats running for House and Senate seats.

A hot button issue that’s unlikely to go away

Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, abortion has become one of the most contentious issues in politics. In fact, Republicans’ failure to reap a highly expected ‘red wave’ in the 2022 midterms was directly attributed to outrage over Roe’s demise.

Amid this year’s political races, Democrats nationwide are continuing to hit Republicans on abortion. GOP members have infamously struggled to fend off these attacks, notwithstanding efforts to paint left-wing officials as the real extremists on this issue.
