In Joker: Folie à Deux, pop celeb Lady Gaga will star alongside Phoenix as Harley Quinn. Judging from the name of the sequel and various promotional photos from February, it appears as though the film will focus on the trouble that Gaga’s Quinn and Phoenix’s Joker create in Arkham Asylum.
Fans of the new Joker universe can also look forward to Zazie Beetz reprising her role. Likewise, stars such as Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener are expected to appear in Folie à Deux.
In a different turn from the first film, Joker: Folie à Deux will also be a musical, as Phillips has confirmed.

Various photos from Folie à Deux show Lady Gaga in character smoking, dancing, and going down the iconic staircase seen in the 2019 Joker movie. On top of that, images additionally reveal Phoenix smoking while in character.
Some photos from filming also suggest there will be multiple Jokers in certain scenes. Fans can expect more promotional content for Folie à Deux between now and October 2024.
