What About PS6 Games?

No titles have been officially announced for PlayStation 6. However, large-scale projects scheduled for 2027 and beyond are likely candidates for cross-generation releases.

Major projects expected in that window include:

• The Elder Scrolls VI
• The Witcher IV
• BioShock 4
• Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3
• Assassin’s Creed Hexe
• A sequel to Alien: Isolation
• Metro sequel from 4A Games
• Star Wars Jedi Part 3
• The Division 3
• Space Marine 3

It is likely that many of these titles will launch on PS5 first and later receive enhanced PS6 editions. Fully PS6-exclusive titles may take longer to materialize, depending on the final launch date.

The Big Picture

At this stage, the PlayStation 6 remains unannounced and in development. However, hardware leaks, analyst commentary and industry reporting suggest Sony is preparing a console focused heavily on ray tracing, AI-assisted rendering and improved efficiency rather than sheer brute-force scaling alone.

If delays push the launch closer to 2028 or 2029, expectations will only grow higher. Until Sony makes its official reveal, everything remains subject to change — but the outlines of the next PlayStation generation are beginning to take shape.
