Romanian Prosecutors Take New Action in Andrew Tate Human Trafficking Probe

Over the course of this month, news has broken of Romanian law enforcement continuing its digging into the human trafficking, rape, and organized crime accusations against the following persons:

  • Andrew Tate
  • Tristan Tate
  • Georgiana Naghel
  • Luana Radu

The latter women are associates of the two brothers. Though in late December, all four were arrested on the aforementioned charges.

A Bucharest judge also confirmed each of them will remain detained until at least February 27. The Tate brothers also had their assets seized, both in Romania and abroad. These assets include cash, cars, watches, real estate properties, and more.

New developments in this case currently show that Romanian officials are moving forward.

Both Tate brothers brought in for questioning

On Monday, both Tate brothers found themselves perp-walked into Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) office.

Their stay lasted for a brief period of time. Though while they were there, Romanian media sources confirmed that DIICOT officials searched their electronic devices. This includes computers, tablets, and mobile phones belonging to the pair.
