And some of her remains were found on the beach nearby where her car was found. The discovery of a severed leg on Warnimont Park’s beach marked the beginning of the gruesome search.
Preliminary testing indicates that the leg belongs to Robinson. Other body parts, including a torso and an arm, have washed up on Lake Michigan’s shoreline.
Other victims?
An amendment to the criminal complaint revealed that blood evidence found in Anderson’s home did not match Robinson’s DNA. Police suspect that she was killed on the beach.
The revelation leaves investigators concerned that there may be other victims.
Anderson quickly emerged as a suspect, charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson.
Anderson’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 16. He remains in jail being held on a 3-million-dollar bond.
