Sen. John McCain Slams Hillary Clinton over Post-Election Memoir

He said, “Listen, my own campaign manager was part of a book that trashed me. Steve Schmidt was one of the big contributors to Game Change.” The book discussed Sen. McCain’s awful response to the economic crisis during his campaign. It also revealed how his campaign desperately tried to bring Palin up to speed and his staff discussed the “threatening possibility” that she was “mentally unstable.”

Furthermore, Sen. McCain said after losing an election, the “hardest thing to do is to just shut up.” However, he emphasized, “You’ve got to understand that you can’t rewrite history.”

Moreover, the senator said, “This is Hillary’s problem right now: She doesn’t have anything to do.”

Mrs. Clinton is currently involved with her family’s foundation and several other initiatives. However, she is not holding any official position in the government unlike Sen. McCain who returned to the Senate after his defeat.

Sen. McCain said, “I did the right thing! I did! He recently announced his plan to write his memoir.  He is currently battling glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain cancer. The disease did not stop him from his work in the Senate.
