Spin Master Royalties Lawsuit: Products in Dispute
The lawsuit highlights that the contested products include Monster Jam remote-controlled vehicles, such as replicas of Grave Digger, Megalodon, and El Toro Loco trucks. Additionally, royalties are claimed for Spin Master’s all-terrain Batmobile toy.
BBX claims that Spin Master never indicated that toys with “soft, squishy” wheels were excluded from the licensing agreement. The design firm also accuses Spin Master of retaliation by deducting patent costs related to the licensed items without proper notification, as required by the agreement.
