She held a campaign event on the Fort Worth Stockyards at Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall. And spoke to a standing-room-only crowd of an estimated 1,000 people.

Last week former President Trump was in Texas with Governor Greg Abbott to address the border crisis. Trump criticized the Biden administration and the Democratic leaders of Arizona and California.

Haley exuded confidence and determination, buoyed by her recent victory in the Republican primary in Washington, D.C., which marked a historic milestone as the first Republican woman to win.

865 Republican delegates are up for grabs in Texas and 14 other states on Super Tuesday. And 1,215 delegates will be needed to secure the Republican nomination.

Haley is very much the underdog in the race.  Trump currently has won 244 delegates to Haley’s 43.
