“It’s a complicated financial situation,” Appling acknowledged in court.

Ron Estefan, representing Davenport, concurred, describing the challenge of tracking Takeoff’s financial situation as akin to “trying to track down a multitentacle entity.” He emphasized the difficulty in determining Takeoff’s contributions to his mother and identifying his assets.

The parties anticipate resolving the dispute within 30 days, with plans to submit an agreed order to the court. Mediation has also been ordered, though a date has not yet been set.
