Suspicions led Dr. Tennant to demand detailed monthly accounting, revealing that his stepson had allegedly underreported device sales, resulting in millions of dollars in lost royalties. Despite terminating the licensing agreement, Senergy continued to sell the trademarked products, prompting Dr. Tennant’s legal action.

Scott Tennant, however, paints a different picture. In a countersuit, he accuses his family of attempting to oust him from the business after he refused to hand over Senergy’s customer list to his brother, John Tennant, and his wife, Teresa “Terri” Jessen Tennant. Scott Tennant claims his family’s efforts to monopolize the business stem from their failure to transition customers to their own supplement company, Curador.

The family dispute has escalated into a fierce legal battle, with both sides trading allegations of breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment. As the case unfolds, the court’s decision on the injunction could have significant implications for the control and future of the micro-current therapy devices’ trademarks.
