Type of Aliens:  Ex CIA Scientist Claims Government Knows About Four Extraterrestrial Species

Types of Aliens

Claims about different “Type of Aliens” secretly known to the U.S. government are once again fueling debate over UFO disclosure after former CIA-affiliated scientist Hal Puthoff stated that intelligence insiders allegedly encountered “at least four separate types” of non-human beings connected to recovered unidentified craft.

Puthoff, who worked on controversial government psychic spy and UFO-related research projects during the Cold War era, made the remarks during an appearance on The Diary of a CEO Podcast alongside filmmaker Dan Farah.

The comments come amid renewed public interest in UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena following recent disclosure efforts in Washington and continued congressional hearings involving military whistleblowers and intelligence officials.

According to Puthoff and physicist Eric Davis, the four alleged extraterrestrial groups most frequently discussed in classified circles are known as the Grays, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians.

Despite the sensational claims, the United States Department of Defense has repeatedly stated there is “no verifiable evidence” proving extraterrestrial craft or alien life has been recovered.

More information about official government UFO investigations can be found at NASA UAP Research and Department of Defense All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.

Grays: The Most Famous Alien Species

The “Grays” are perhaps the most recognizable alien beings in modern UFO culture.

Witness descriptions dating back decades portray them as small humanoid creatures with gray skin, oversized bald heads, and large black almond-shaped eyes. Reports often describe the beings as lacking visible ears, pronounced noses, or expressive facial features.

The Grays became deeply embedded in popular culture after the famous Betty and Barney Hill abduction case in the 1960s. The New Hampshire couple claimed they were abducted by small gray-skinned beings aboard a spacecraft.

Puthoff and Davis suggested that descriptions from alleged government witnesses and crash retrieval accounts closely resemble those long associated with the Grays.

The beings have appeared in countless movies, television series, and books, becoming the dominant image associated with extraterrestrials worldwide.

Readers interested in UFO history can explore archived material through National UFO Reporting Center.

Nordics: Human-Like Type of Aliens Linked to the Pleiades

The so-called “Nordics” are described very differently from the Grays.

According to UFO lore, these beings allegedly resemble tall, attractive humans with blond hair, blue eyes, and Scandinavian-like features. Reports describing Nordics date back to the 1950s and often portray them as peaceful and technologically advanced.

Some UFO researchers claim the beings are connected to the Pleiades star cluster, located hundreds of light-years from Earth.

Eric Davis reportedly told congressional staffers that Nordics are among the entities allegedly associated with unidentified aerial craft.

Supporters of these theories often describe Nordics as benevolent beings attempting to guide humanity, though no scientific evidence supports those claims.

Additional astronomy information about the Pleiades can be found at NASA Solar System Exploration.

Insectoids: Mantis-Like Beings From Alien Lore

Another alleged “Type of Aliens” discussed by UFO researchers is the Insectoids.

Witnesses who claim encounters with these beings often compare them to giant praying mantises standing six feet tall or more. Descriptions include exoskeletons, antennae, mandibles, and elongated limbs.

According to some UFO accounts, the Insectoids allegedly communicate telepathically rather than verbally.

These beings have appeared in science fiction and paranormal folklore for decades. Some researchers trace the imagery back to early 20th-century fantasy works, including A Trip to the Moon by pioneering filmmaker Georges Méliès.

Puthoff and Davis both referenced Insectoids as one of several recurring entity descriptions allegedly tied to recovered UFO craft.

Skeptics argue such reports are more likely connected to sleep paralysis, psychological suggestion, or cultural mythology than actual extraterrestrial encounters.

Reptilians: The Most Controversial Type of Aliens

The most controversial and conspiratorial alien claims involve the so-called Reptilians.

These alleged beings are often described as humanoid creatures with reptile-like characteristics, including scales, slit-shaped eyes, and serpent-inspired appearances.

Some conspiracy theorists claim Reptilians possess shape-shifting abilities and secretly infiltrate positions of power in governments and financial institutions.

The theory gained widespread notoriety through British conspiracy writer David Icke, who popularized the concept in the late 20th century.

Interestingly, scholars have noted that half-human, half-serpent figures appear in ancient mythology throughout South and Southeast Asia, including stories involving the Naga.

However, there is no credible scientific evidence supporting claims that reptilian beings exist or secretly control world events.

UFO Disclosure Debate Intensifies

The alien claims resurfaced shortly after a new wave of UFO-related files was reportedly disclosed to the public following directives from President Donald Trump.

Filmmaker Dan Farah’s documentary, The Age of Disclosure, alleges the U.S. government has secretly recovered non-human technology since the 1940s.

Meanwhile, several members of Congress, including Tim Burchett, have pushed for greater transparency regarding unidentified aerial phenomena.

Other officials, including Anna Paulina Luna and JD Vance, have speculated that the entities described in ancient records and UFO encounters may be “interdimensional beings” rather than extraterrestrials.

Despite the growing attention, scientists continue to emphasize that no publicly verified evidence has conclusively proven the existence of alien life visiting Earth. And there are researchers that do not believe in the different type of aliens.
