Mattel, the American toy manufacturing giant, has landed in hot water after a significant oversight on the packaging for its “Wicked” movie dolls, as reported by Consequence.
The highly anticipated “Wicked” film, based on the Tony-winning Broadway musical, is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on November 22.
Mattel’s dolls inspired by the film’s characters are already on shelves and available online. Retailers like Target, Amazon, and Kohl’s are selling these special edition dolls, but there’s a twist that has parents concerned.

A Wicked Link
In a surprising error, Mattel mistakenly printed a link to a pornographic website on the back of the dolls’ packaging. While the correct web address for the film is www.wickedmovie.com, the packaging lists only “wicked.com,” an entirely different site.
