On multiple occasions Biden appeared to be frustrated with Trump’s constant barrage of attacks, particularly when directed at the activities of his son Hunter Biden, leading to Biden calling Trump a “clown.”
It is difficult to say whether the debate had a clear winner. A post-debate poll conducted by CBS indicates that 41% of respondents felt Trump won while 48% said Biden was the victor. A remaining 10% said it was a tie, which is similar to post-debate polling in 2016.
For the most part, it appears that most voters have already decided on their candidate with only a small percentage remaining undecided. The two candidates are set to debate again in Miami in October.
