A21 seeks to raise awareness about not just sex trafficking, but also other forms of human trafficking. This includes forced labor, debt bondage, organ harvesting, etc.
Today, we walk for…
✖️ The child sold into sex slavery in Asia.
✖️ The man trapped in forced labor in the fields of Bulgaria.
✖️ The woman sexually exploited in South Africa.
✖️ And millions of others caught in human trafficking around the world. pic.twitter.com/RCoUbHiOMx— A21 (@A21) October 15, 2022
Many communities that engaged in the Walk For Freedom yesterday also partook in the Red Sand Project. The Red Sand Project is American-based and involves people pouring red sand into the cracks of various sidewalks.
This occurs as a physical representation of human trafficking victims who are literally falling through the cracks of society.

On A21’s website, there are some sobering details about human trafficking that many people may not know. For instance, more than 40 million individuals today are believed to be enslaved in one way or another.
The impact of #WalkForFreedom is astonishing, and we won’t stop until every person is free.
Thank you for standing with us on the frontlines of freedom today.
