Earlier today, the controversial Reverend Al Sharpton weighed in with his thoughts regarding the forthcoming 2020 election. Many Americans were surprised to hear Sharpton also predict a victory for President Trump, reports The Hill.

The Reverend shared his thoughts on the forthcoming 2020 election during his time in the United Kingdom. Sharpton slammed what he views as poor Democratic leadership. Moreover, he also believes that the Democrats are not in the best position to emerge victoriously from the midterm elections in November.

In Sharpton's own words, the Democrats "lost the ability to dramatize. [Trump] understands spectacle and drama and they don't."

The Reverend continued by vocalizing his opinions regarding black voters in America. According to Sharpton, Bernie Sanders' focus on class issues, instead of race issues, alienated a degree of black Americans in 2016. Moreover, the Reverend believes that Elizabeth Warren could garner stronger advocacy from black Americans due to her awareness of the "racial dimension."

Earlier this year, talk of a Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren 2020 ticket emerged. However, many conservatives and Trump supporters chuckled at the notion, stating that such a ticket would ensure President Trump's re-election victory.

Finally, Sharpton stated that he believes black voters would support Joe Biden in 2020 due to his service as Obama's Vice President. Talk about Biden running for office has made the rounds in the press on multiple occasions.

Towards the end of last year, President Trump expressed his confidence in winning the 2020 election.

Trump supporters have expressly affirmed that the President will have no issues with being re-elected. Conversely, many of Trump's political adversaries and detractors harbor contrasting viewpoints. Some Americans even believe the President will be found guilty of collusion with Russia and ultimately face impeachment.

However, Trump supporters have strongly and fiercely controverted the preceding assertion. Throughout the entire Russia investigation (which has lasted over one year), evidence of the President's alleged collusion has yet to emerge. Trump and his supporters have habitually criticized the Russia probe as a "witch hunt," and furthermore called for its conclusion.
