Barbie star Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, have welcomed their first child together. Per reports, the baby boy arrived slightly ahead of time. Robbie went into labor two weeks before her actual due date; however, sources confirmed that everything turned out alright.
Robbie Says She’s Excited To Have A Family
News of Robbie’s pregnancy first went public back in July. A spokesperson for the actress confirmed that she was indeed expecting. This followed the emergence of photos of the Aussie showing off her baby bump on vacation in Italy.
Since breaking the news, Robbie and her spouse have remained tightlipped about the pregnancy. Notably, however, she has expressed her enthusiasm about the prospect of parenthood in the past. In 2018, Robbie shared her vision of a family decades down the line
“If I’m looking into my future 30 years from now… I want to see a big Christmas dinner with tons of kids there,” she said.
Robbie Will Take a Break From Filming
According to sources close to Robbie, her husband also shared her enthusiasm and they both “wanted to be parents for a really long time, and are so happy.” As Margot Robbie and her partner settle into life as new parents, she plans to hit pause put her filming projects.
