Thursday marked the final night of the Democratic National Convention. Various speakers shared remarks over the four nights of the convention, touting Biden’s election as imminent and necessary.

Speakers from Michelle Obama to Cory Booker, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and others repeatedly slammed President Trump. Democrats alleged that Trump has worsened the impacts of coronavirus and subsequent economic decline; the left also branded the United States as systemically racist while propping up Biden as a solution to challenges that Americans face.

According to the former vice president, Americans are facing four different crises at the same time. Biden cited these crises as climate change, COVID-19, racial tensions, and economic struggles. The former vice president additionally vowed to be an “ally of the light” rather than one of darkness.
