While agreeing to share the stage this time, Biden and Trump each took shots at one another. The current president accused his rival of “[losing] two debates to [him]” four years ago. Trump, on the other hand, announced on Truth Social his willingness to face off against “Crooked Joe Biden.”
2020’s debates between the two contenders lacked amicability, to say the least. Judging from the current state of affairs in politics, hostility levels will remain high as the pair vie for the Oval Office once again.
Who’s leading in the polls ahead of November?
A series of new polls from NYT/Siena College showed Trump ahead of Biden in a handful of America’s most crucial states. However, some people believe these findings are flawed and Biden will ultimately win in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and other important areas.
During this year’s debates, Americans can count on both presidential candidates taking vicious shots at one another. Issues like immigration, abortion, women’s rights, and US democracy will also undoubtedly come up.
