On Wednesday, he was forcibly unseated from the revered state Court of Appeals bench, drowning in a deluge of allegations ranging from exploiting an elderly client during his tenure as a lawyer to misappropriating campaign funds for lavish family getaways.

A Shattered Image: Coomer's Fall from Grace

The Georgia Supreme Court's resounding judgment wasn't just about the removal; it was a severe indictment of Coomer's breach of the sacred Code of Judicial Conduct. But that wasn't the end of it. The investigative panel hurled more accusations Coomer's way, alleging that he doctored transactions during his reelection campaign, spun a web of lies for a mortgage application, and intermingled funds between his legal practice and campaign. The cherry on top? Charges of him splurging campaign cash for extravagant jaunts to the likes of Israel and Hawaii with family in tow.
