Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie of Bridgegate fame, the same man who sat on a beach he had closed as a hurricane approached, is lecturing Republicans on what is and is not an absurdity.

The former staunch supporter of President Donald Trump who was one of the first to abandon ship was asked by ABC’s “This Week” host Martha Raddatz on Sunday what he would say to his fellow Republicans who do not accept that former Vice President Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fair and square.

“Listen, the legal theory put forward by his legal team and by the president is an absurdity,” he said as he proverbially twisted the knife in the president’s back.

“And the reason why the Supreme Court didn’t take it because it’s an absurd idea to think that any state, or any number of states, no matter how good they are, can challenge another state’s right to run the election as they see fit. And also there’s no evidence.”

The case he is talking about was filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against four swing states that Biden was announced to have won and supported by 126 Republican representatives in Congress and seventeen state attorneys general.
