Perdue then slammed Biden’s decision to govern as a left-wing extremist. The former GOP senator explained that Biden’s onslaught against Keystone Pipeline only ruins American jobs and energy independence. Perdue also pointed out that the GOP regaining the Senate majority will allow for balanced government.

Finally, the Georgia Republican wrapped up his statement by explaining that he and his wife, Bonnie Perdue, will consider their options over the next several weeks. Perdue then noted that his parents’ occupations as schoolteachers ultimately gave him the drive and desire to serve and lead.

The Future of the United States

According to Perdue’s advisers, he is strongly leaning towards running, but will ultimately have a final decision made by March. If Perdue does decide to run against Warnock, this will clear a path for Republicans to take back the Senate majority.

Likewise, House Republicans are also working to regain their majority and build off 2020 midterm wins. At this point, there is no denying that next year’s elections will have monumental impacts on not just the Republican Party, but also America.
