Yesterday, Nancy Pelosi made some very public statements about President Trump’s alleged engagement in a “cover-up” and obstruction of justice. These statements occurred after a meeting between the president and Democrat leaders went awry.
Earlier this morning, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, appeared on Fox & Friends to provide his own rebuttal to Pelosi’s accusations.

During his time on air, Don Jr. stated that Democrats are deadset against Trump having any successes while in office.
“They don’t want him to rack up any wins. You can’t deal with someone like that. You can’t say we’re gonna deal with infrastructure, but meanwhile, we’re impeaching you while that is going on.”
Investigations and Talks of Impeachment
Talks of impeaching the president resurfaced following the conclusion of Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. During the probe, Democrats maintained that Trump colluded with the Russian government in order to win the 2016 presidential election; yet Mueller’s ultimate findings did not support these assertions.
