While abortion isn’t the major factor driving this election, most voters still believe the outcome of November 5 will determine abortion access. Meanwhile, Harris and Trump have adopted extremely different views on the matter.
As the vice president vows to restore Roe v. Wade via congressional action, her GOP opponent has stated on multiple occasions that he’s “proud” of Roe’s overturn.

KFF survey methodology director Ashley Kirzinger recently spoke out about the findings of this latest poll. It’s her view that Harris replacing President Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket generated a surge in voter enthusiasm.
She also stated voters are “complex” and a series of policy issues will likely impact who they cast a ballot for. In other words, while abortion will be a factor in this election, it’s not necessarily the end all be all.
For Americans who are struggling to support themselves and pay the bills, economic issues like jobs and inflation will undoubtedly remain top of mind.
