Later, Zhao replied to Musk on his personal Twitter account. The company’s CEO said it was “pretty certain” that it wasn’t an issue with the latest Doge wallet. Zhao apologized for the inconvenience and linked to an article by the Guardian on November 2. The article published about Tesla recalling nearly 12,000 U.S. vehicles due to a software glitch. He said: “What happened here?”.
This isn’t the first time that Musk and Zhao clashed. In a February interview with Bloomberg, Zhao said he is surprised that Musk is an advocate of Dogecoin.
“I strongly believe that he’s not really associated with Dogecoin in any way,” Zhao said.
In another interview in June, the CEO of Binance warned that Musk should be more careful about his cryptocurrency-related tweets.
