The Epstein survivor added “I was very young at the time, it was a very stressful and traumatic environment and Mr. Dershowitz has from the beginning consistently denied these allegations.”
She also says that the suit and countersuit had been “burdensome” for her family, “and we believe it is time to bring it to an end and move on with our lives.”
Giuffre settled with British royals
Earlier this year, Giuffre settled her lawsuit against Prince Andrew. The British royal was accused of raping Giuffre when she was underage.
That suit was resolved by a $16 million payment to Giuffre’s sex trafficking survivor charity, Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR). The sum was partially paid by Andrew’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Giuffre is also involved with a pending defamation suit filed in 2021 by a fellow Epstein survivor and accuser, Rina Oh.
The lawsuit alleges that Giuffre’s 2020 tweets allege Oh was Epstein’s co-conspirator. Rina Oh maintains she is a victim, recruited into the sex trafficking ring.
