CNN Accused of Elevating Far-Left Extremism
NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck slammed the network for giving Lorenz a platform without offering journalistic pushback.
He pointed to CNN’s omission of other violent incidents — including the assassination attempts on Donald Trump and the 2017 shooting of GOP lawmakers — as evidence of bias.
“O’Sullivan gave away the game concerning his hate-filled documentary by platforming Lorenz and offering zero pushback… to her dangerous slippery slope,” Houck said.

Lorenz Responds to Backlash
Responding on social media, Lorenz denied praising Mangione directly:
“I didn’t even ‘praise’ him. I said that there are millions of Americans who view our healthcare system as barbaric and have made him into a hero,” she wrote on X.
