In response to the controversy at FEMA, Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, announced a hearing to address the matter on November 19. 

Washington expressed her support for the investigation, stating, “Please do [investigate], they will find this is not isolated. I state this over and over again, this is colossal. Demand for FEMA to give you those incident reports. They will substantiate what we are experiencing in the field.”
