Much of the world is familiar with Andrew Tate, the influencer who’s made headlines for derogatory comments about women, admissions about running a webcam business, and more.
Towards the end of December 2022, Tate, along with his younger brother, Tristan, was arrested by authorities in Romania. The arrests were made amid allegations of human trafficking, organized crime, and rape.
The brothers have since lost multiple appeals to get out of detention and block authorities from seizing their assets.
Alongside Andrew and Tristan Tate, two female associates of theirs were also taken into custody in December. These two associates are Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu.
Naghel is a reported girlfriend of Andrew and a personal assistant to Tristan. Radu, on the other hand, is a former police officer who began working for Tate.
Both women stand accused of being “enforcers” who allegedly helped the Tate brothers intimidate and punished trafficked women.
A closer look at allegations against Naghel and Radu
Both Naghel and Radu are referred to (often online) as “Tate’s angels.” However, the claims against them by prosecutors in Romania are far from angelic.
