Much of the world is familiar with Andrew Tate, the influencer who's made headlines for derogatory comments about women, admissions about running a webcam business, and more.

Towards the end of December 2022, Tate, along with his younger brother, Tristan, was arrested by authorities in Romania. The arrests were made amid allegations of human trafficking, organized crime, and rape.

The brothers have since lost multiple appeals to get out of detention and block authorities from seizing their assets.

Alongside Andrew and Tristan Tate, two female associates of theirs were also taken into custody in December. These two associates are Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu.

Naghel is a reported girlfriend of Andrew and a personal assistant to Tristan. Radu, on the other hand, is a former police officer who began working for Tate.

Both women stand accused of being "enforcers" who allegedly helped the Tate brothers intimidate and punished trafficked women.

A closer look at allegations against Naghel and Radu

Both Naghel and Radu are referred to (often online) as "Tate's angels." However, the claims against them by prosecutors in Romania are far from angelic.

According to officials, Naghel and Radu pressured one of the women working for Tate on webcam to receive breast enhancement surgery. The woman was allegedly told this surgery would make her better looking.

However, she also claims her work on webcam did not take place consensually. Per the woman's account, the Tate brothers, Naghel, and Radu made her work for 12 hours, only permitting her to take one five-minute break per period.

Before getting away from the Tates, the woman charges that both Naghel and Radu physically assaulted her. Naghel, however, is also accused of inflicting torture on the woman by making her raise her arms as her chest was healing from breast enhancement surgery paid for by the Tates.

This came before both Tate associates are said to have pressed the woman to reimburse the funds for the surgery.

Finally, prosecutors maintain that Naghel and Radu stole the woman's computer and phone,  but later handed them over after the woman complained to police in Voluntari, Romania.

Radu's previous career as a police officer is also believed to have motivated Voluntari law enforcement to reportedly hide the allegations against her, Naghel, and the Tate brothers.

Romanian law enforcement members have their hands full dealing with the Tates and the two women arrested alongside them. Currently, authorities are digging into complaints against the Tate brothers going back years ago.

Right now, Naghel and Radu stand accused of the following:

• Aiding the Tate brothers in trafficking female webcam workers
• Threatening and assaulting trafficked women when they did not want to work
• Taking at least half of the trafficked women's earnings
• Managing the content generated and shared by the trafficked women
• Fining trafficked women for crying or "sniffling" while on webcam
