This week, the campaign is hosting events to get Floridian voters involved. Today, Wednesday, and Saturday, organizing and coalition calls in support of Harris are taking place virtually. Then, on Thursday and Sunday, Pinellas and Broward Counties will host volunteer training initiatives.
Some Florida Democrats, such as Reggie Cardozo, feel that Harris will do better in the state than Biden had the latter remained in the 2024 race. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz also believes bumping the vice president up to the head of the Democratic ticket “woke a sleeping giant.”
On X, a verified Florida For Harris account regularly posts updates about upcoming pro-Harris events in the state, along with other related campaign news.
Since the vice president’s entry into 2024’s White House race, she raised north of $200 million. Over 100,000 volunteers across the nation have also come out in support of her candidacy.
