The founder of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried is one of the few figures that got so rich in a blink of an eye.

The 29-year old entrepreneur and founder of the crypto-derivatives exchange FTX went from an unknown person three years ago to rank sixth in spot trading and second in derivatives trading in only two years, according to CoinGecko. 

Bankman has a net worth of $26.5 billion according to Forbes. The billionaire went from zero to a wealthy founder in no time by providing the crypto space with his crypto-derivatives trading platform. And until this moment, FTX has been off the radar in terms of exchanges troubles — contrary to other major crypto exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance.

In an interview with Insider, Bankman-Fried, and several of his colleagues, and closest friends, the news outlet was able to take a close look at how the billionaire’s work schedule looks like. According to his colleagues, the major factor that led Bankman-Fried to his success was his “work ethic” and his ability to attract major investors amid regulatory scrutiny.
