Benioff’s viral post racked up over a million views in hours, underscoring the excitement across the tech community.
Praise From Across the AI Landscape
The enthusiasm wasn’t limited to Salesforce. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, in a rare nod to a rival, posted on X: “Looks like a great model.”
Former Tesla AI director Andrej Karpathy also praised Gemini 3, noting “very solid daily driver potential” and calling it “clearly a tier 1 LLM.”
Stripe CEO Patrick Collison added his own endorsement, sharing that Gemini 3 automatically built an “interactive web page summarizing 10 breakthroughs in genetics,” which he described as “pretty cool.”
