The “Garbage Truck” Controversy
Trump’s choice of vehicle brought attention to remarks made by President Joe Biden, who had reportedly referred to some Trump supporters as “garbage.” 

En route to the event in the truck, Trump waved to supporters, joking, “How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.” 

Favre responded to Biden’s comments, saying, “I can assure you we’re not garbage. How dare he say that? I see police officers, teachers, nurses, grandparents, students. I see every-day Americans that make this country great.”

Favre’s Diagnosis
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback, who recently disclosed his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. also discussed his iconic NFL career. 

Appearing before Congress to testify on welfare reform, Favre expressed that the upcoming election is crucial, stating, “There’s never been a more important time in our lives than right now in this election.”
