Two Conflicts, One Expanding Crisis
Reporting from Doha, Al Jazeera correspondent Ali Hashem said the simultaneous U.S.-Israeli assault on Iran and Tehran’s counterstrikes have effectively created two parallel conflicts, entangling multiple Gulf states.
“This could make the whole crisis very intertwined and very complicated in a way that this region has never witnessed,” Hashem said.
As tensions surge and flight boards flicker with cancellations, the Iran-Israel airspace closures have turned the Middle East into a tightening vice — one that is squeezing not just a region, but global aviation itself.
