President Joe Biden’s railroad plans are going viral. The president says that his team has plans to build a railroad in a distant part of the world. And not just any railroad, people couldn’t help but weigh in on the idea.
“We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean,” Biden told the League of Conservation Voters at their annual dinner in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, June 14.
“We have plans to build in Angola, one of the largest solar plants in the world. I could go on, but I’m not. I’m going off-script. I’m going to get in trouble.”
Biden’s railroad plans are on video. But like all his gaffes you have to look for it.
Biden’s railroad plans
It’s hard to understand the feasibility of such a railroad. It would cost trillions to develop. If it could even be developed, at all. And the Pacific and Indian Oceans run together in close proximity to China.
If America invested in the bizarre railroad idea it’s hard to determine how it would serve the interests of this country. And the solar plant in Angola would not benefit American workers.
