Joe Rogan Won’t be Moving His Podcast Over to Rumble

For going on two weeks now, there’s been some dissension surrounding the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Rogan is known for having all kinds of guests on his podcast and discussing a series of issues. Over time, the Joe Rogan Experience has gained massive popularity, bringing in as many as 11 million listeners.

However, not everyone is a fan. Some folks, namely those on the left, decided Rogan should lose his business deal with Spotify because of statements he made regarding coronavirus and other matters.

One of the most common, anti-Rogan talking points is that the podcaster is circulating so-called misinformation. In the wake of this, many left-wing creators ordered Spotify to remove their content as a means of protesting against Rogan’s presence on the streaming platform.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek has also publicly spoken about the controversy shrouding Rogan’s podcast; the CEO noted advisory notifications will be placed on content pertaining to COVID. However, Ek also maintained that censorship of Rogan is not the appropriate solution.
