MNPD released the security video of the interaction. There is no audio.
It shows a woman wearing a blue dress standing on the ledge. She has her arms wrapped around the bridge’s railing.
Other people passed her by.
Bon Jovi and a woman member of his team are then seen walking cautiously to her.
The musician leans against the railing while the woman accompanying him approaches the distressed woman. She is seen patting the woman gently and holding on to the woman’s forearm.
After about a minute, Bon Jovi walks to the woman’s other side, and the pair help her back over the railing onto the pedestrian walkway.
Once safe, the woman and Bon Jovi face each other, and the Grammy-winning singer hugs the woman before the group walks away.
