The Case Against Gogic

Gogic, a Montenegrin national whose boxing career ended in 2012, was indicted in 2022 for allegedly orchestrating a massive smuggling operation that moved more than $1 billion in cocaine from Colombia to Europe via U.S. ports, using commercial container ships as cover.

His attorney, Joseph Corozzo of Rubinstein & Corozzo LLP, has argued that prosecutors overreached in pursuing the case. Corozzo did not comment Monday on the jury-tampering allegations.
