Integrating herself closely with former President Trump likely turned off some voters that Lake needed to win the race.
The same also possibly applies to the Arizona Republican openly ripping deceased Sen. John McCain before Election Day. This came on top of Lake telling GOP members who like McCain to “get the hell out” of an event where she was speaking.
There is no evidence whatsoever of fraud in the Arizona 2022 governor’s race in any capacity. However, Lake’s loss fits a larger pattern of Trump-endorsed candidates losing their general elections nationwide.
Some other Trump endorsees to face rejection from the general electorate across America include Blake Masters, Mehmet Oz, Doug Mastriano, Tudor Dixon, Herschel Walker, and Adam Laxalt.
