Vice President Kamala Harris also had something to say, “Because you made your voices heard, marriages are more secure, and Joe Biden is our president. A president who elevated LGBTQI+ leaders to every level of our administration, who fights for the safety, freedom and dignity of all people every single day.”
Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, also had something to say on the landmark bill, “It marks a glorious triumph for love, freedom and dignity for all. With the stroke of the president’s pen, the fundamental right to marry the person you love is enshrined in the law of the land. This is our latest leap forward in our fight for full equality, which we have waged alongside generations of fearless activists.”
