A Life of Service Cut Short

Judge Andrew Wilkinson, aged 52, had been serving as a judge on the Washington County Circuit Court in the Fourth Judicial Circuit since January 2020. His professional journey included a stint as an assistant county attorney in Washington County from 2006 to 2012.

Born in Agana, Guam, in 1971, Judge Wilkinson was a distinguished scholar, graduating from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earning his law degree from the Emory University School of Law in 1997. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar and served as a law clerk in the Washington County Circuit Court until 1998.
