Ohio residents who have moved since registering to vote have the responsibility to note this address change and re-register accordingly. LaRose also informed the media that inactive Ohio residents who wish to remain on the state’s voter rolls have some options.
These voters can take a serious of election-centered steps. Some of these steps include asking for an absentee ballot, voting in an election within the next four years, etc. However, if voter engagement remains fully inactive between now and 2026, then these voters run the risk of roll removal.
