Given the production timeline of Reacher, fans can likely expect the third season to arrive on Amazon either towards the end of this year or in early 2025. Likewise, as season two saw a much-loved cameo return of Malcolm Goodwin’s Finlay from Margrave, Reacher stans can look forward to Maria Sten’s Neagley coming back as well.
Why is the show such a hit?
The Reacher novels date back to 1997, when Killing Floor first came out. Since then, 28 other books have followed, with the latest hitting bookstores in October 2023. Child even has yet another Reacher novel, In Too Deep, coming out towards the end of this October.
That makes for more than 20 years of fans reading and adoring this series. Ritchson’s received high praise not for just embodying Reacher’s physique as described in books, but also for bringing the character’s moral code, fight scenes, and other attributes to life.
All things considered, it looks like Reacher is here to stay. In interviews, Ritchson attributed much of the show’s success to Reacher’s freedom and independence resonating with viewers across diverse demographics.
