Republican congressman urges Arizona to recall Sen. John McCain

Political observers believe the Graham-Cassidy bill is dead on arrival at the Senate. McCain killed another Republican legislation to eliminate the existing health care law. In July, he opposed the so called “skinny repeal” plan.

Gohmert says replacing McCain will be helpful for America

Gohmert noted that President Donald Trump endorsed McCain. He believed that it was a “rare mistake.” Without Trump’s endorsement, his challenger may have won the senate seat in Arizona, said Gohmert.

The Texas congressman suggested that replacing McCain will be very helpful for the country. He emphasized that cancer is a tough battle. He repeated that “stress is a real inhibitor toward getting over cancer. Let him go back, deal with the cancer. Let Arizona recall him. Let’s get somebody that will keep his word.”

When asked about McCain’s demand for regular order and bipartisan legislation, Gohmert said “there is nothing wrong” with it. However, he pointed out that the “Democrats will not allow any repeal of anything in Obamacare.”  He added, “We are not the ones keeping it from being bipartisan.

Gohmert said McCain is blocking sick people from getting help

Furthermore, Gohmert explained that he suggested recalling McCain because his constituents in Texas are hurting from Obamacare.
