On social media, many pro-DeSantis PACs and other supporters remain very much excited about Wednesday’s announcement. Those in favor of the Florida governor making a presidential run also feel that he’s the best hope the nation has of getting back on track.
As of May 23, the RonDeSantis.com website merely reflects an alligator in the water, seemingly symbolizing new things to come. This imagery is likewise present on the social media accounts of Ron and Casey DeSantis, along with the DeSantis War Room.
Team Trump in shambles?
Amid news of DeSantis announcing his run for the White House, the Trump camp appears in a state of disarray, to say the least.
After the news broke, Trump posted on Truth Social a link from the Gateway Pundit that pushes for DeSantis to “PLEASE” sit out the 2024 presidential election.
